That’s right. Scooby Doo. Even though it may seem like a complicated group Halloween costume, it is actually easy to pull together. Additionally, you can even create it using clothes you likely already own in your closet. Each character can be quickly recognizable with a few key items, which I have outlined below in a few options for inspiration.
Velma
Jinkies! The formula for Velma is: Turtleneck + Skirt + Socks + Glasses. Even if you don’t have the perfect shades of orange or red, if you can coordinate the turtleneck and the socks with the skirt and shoes, you’ll look like Velma.

Shaggy
Debatably the simplest costume of them all, which definitely fits the bill for Shaggy. Green T-Shirt + Pants. Literally any pants. While he typically wears brown pants, you can get away with khakis and honestly probably jeans, too. Check out this post for more men’s neutral outfit inspiration.

Daphne
While Daphne’s outfit is likely the most difficult to pull off with existing clothes, there is still some flexibility. As long as you can fit in some purple I think it will work. Her formula is Purple Dress/Top + Green Scarf. As a tip, don’t go crazy looking for an actual scarf. You will be better off creating your own using a strip of fabric.

Fred
Next up, Fred. Surprisingly, with the most elements needed in his ensemble. His formula is Jeans + Blue Collar + White Long Sleeve + Orange Neck Tie. Despite the long list of must-haves, the good news is that most are pretty easy staples you will likely already own. And the ones you might not, like the neck tie, is an inexpensive add-on.

Scooby
Finally, last but not least: Scooby-Doo. This is another outfit that you can get a little creative with. Scooby’s formula is Brown + Black + Teal Accent. Create your own spots using paper and safety pins and after that, color your own tag to attach to a necklace for a DIY dog collar.

In conclusion, I hope this gives you some inspiration for a quick and easy group Halloween costume this year!
