If you’re planning on making a trip to Oregon, you will likely be starting or ending in Portland. If you only have one day to visit, here are my top 3 most Instagrammable places in Portland to visit while you are there. The best part is that not only are these places aesthetically beautiful, but they are also some of the best food and drinks we had on our trip.
Screen Door Pearl District
Starting chronologically, one of the first recommended Instagrammable places in Portland is Screen Door Pearl District. Now that you’ve made it to Oregon, it’s time for brunch. The chicken & waffles and the Screen Door breakfast sandwich are absolute musts. Coupled with your meal, try pairing with the blood orange mimosa or the creole bloody mary.
Tusk
If you like Mediterranean food, you will love Tusk. Served in a very shareable format, there is something for everyone. Their cocktails are also unique and refreshing. With a beautiful outdoor dining area, be sure to make a reservation beforehand, as it is a highly sought after place to eat – and rightfully so! The staff are also extremely friendly and make incredible recommendations if you can’t decide what to order.
The Green Room
Finally, the last recommendation is The Green Room. Located below the Multnomah Whiskey Library, this sister bar offers a wide range of cocktails. Even though it is a little small, it is perfect for an after dinner drink with a great vibe. Additionally, the service is unbeatable and the staff has a deep understanding of the whiskey they serve. But even if you’re not a whiskey fan, never fear, as there are still a number of other cocktail options to choose from.
The city has so much to offer and this list only scratches the surface of all the Instagrammable places in Portland. All the more reason to plan another trip!
